Introduction

Moss is a grass-like plant that grows on stone blocks. With the latest update 1.four.0.one, three types of shiny mosses appeared, Krypton, Xenon and Argon, which grow in shiny moss caves, areas much larger than ordinary mosses. Only 1 type of shiny moss tin can be plant in each world (lava moss is not considered a shiny moss, although information technology also glows in the dark). They are institute in the areas of the Caves, mainly to a higher place the lava layer that was at the edges of the World, but non nether the Spawn area.

Before the Shining Mosses appeared in Terraria, it already had vi mosses: red, brown, green, bluish, purple and lava moss.

With the exception of lava moss, the other moons appear randomly in the hush-hush cavern, scattered around the world. Lava moss appears in the lava layers of the cavern, merely if harvested it can exist planted at any level, merely like all other mosses.

Cherry-red, brownish, green, blue and purple moons can appear in "moss chambers", where the moss spreads over the back wall.
